License & reuse

This site mixes three kinds of work (writing, code, and images), and they do not all carry the same terms. In short: the essays are free to share with attribution for non-commercial use, the Playground code is open under the MIT License, and the photographs and site design are all rights reserved.

Writing (essays)

The essays are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). You may share, quote, adapt and translate them for non-commercial purposes, as long as you credit Roberto Russo and link back to the original. For commercial use, ask first.

Playground code

The original source of the self-contained artifacts under /artifacts/, and the other code written for this site, is released under the MIT License below. Third-party libraries, fonts or assets bundled inside an artifact keep their own licenses.
